At Caffé Banba, there is no self important mission statement, no aim to save the world, and no fluff saying we are "passionate about coffee solutions". We just want to make coffee and cakes we are proud of.

Coffee

We serve Comepcafe Coffee roasted by Bailies Coffee In Belfast. It's a fantastic coffee; rich and deep as an americano, and sweet and chocolaty in a latte or cappuccino, making a drink that you can really taste the coffee without a strong bitter aftertaste.

Our coffee is prepared by Baristas who know how to get the best out of the ingredients and the equipment.

We only use fresh local milk supplied by Donegal Creameries. It works really well when steamed, and makes better Lattes and Cappuccinos than other milks. We also have skimmed milk and soya milk alternatives.

Hot Chocolate

We believe it is one of the best hot chocolates you will find anywhere on the planet. We freshly steam Donegal Milk, and then mix in plenty of our own secret recipe extra chocolaty chocolate sauce, and top up with some more steamed frothy milk. If you really want to go for sensation overload, we add fresh whipped cream and marshmallows. This is a local favourite - Dominic is not known as the Hot Chocolate man for nothing.

Baking

Our cakes, breads and biscuits are baked fresh every day using high quality ingredients, making them delicious comforting and addictive, They are a world apart from mass produced stuff, and have a scrumptious home made taste and the heart-warming moist texture that reminds you how baking should be. They don't need the preservatives that big bakeries use for long life because they are usually scoffed within a day! Some people come from miles away to Banba's crown just to get hold of our Banana Bread mini loaf still warm from the oven.

To keep up with demand and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and hygiene, we built a small bakery at our house. We are inspected and approved by the Environmental Health Office of the HSE.

Food

Our Jiffy Barista has brought hot food, cold food, snack, coffee to places other cafes cannot reach. We can fill it with a huge range of goodies to suit the event, season or specific customer requirement. The Jiffy carries sandwiches, bagels and wraps stuffed with delicious fillings, hot pies and pasties, home made stews and soups, Croissants, danish pastries, canapes etc..
